Release Date : 2010
The premise of Cargo Delivery is simple: The little mariner Rufus wants a sailboat, but needs to earn some cash first by delivering cargo. Move cargo of different shapes, sizes, and compositions from the loading dock to the deck of your ship and sail safely to your destination. Each level presents the player with a set of cargo requirements to meet, such as a certain amount of a specific type of cargo, or a minimum weight requirement. The cargo is easily grabbed, rotated, and (gently) dropped onto the ship’s deck, thanks to an elegant physics engine. Successful deliveries earn the player cash, which can be spent on things like ship upgrades or different types of ropes and chains that can be used to further secure your payload.
Cargo Delivery is an indie physics driven game with player customization, 45 levels (2 play modes: mission mode and challenge mode), leaderboards etc. You have to transport several cargo types handling weight, wind and other external artifacts. The main goal of the game is to acquire a fully working Sailboat for Rufus (the main character). Most of the art was done using watercolor and scanned.
